Green car industry makes it in Great Britain

UK automotive industry and green car technology firms take a starring role in the Science Museum’s new Make it in Great Britain exhibition opened this morning by Business Secretary, Vince Cable and Business Minister, Mark Prisk. The new exhibition aims to dispel the myth that Britain ‘doesn’t make anything anymore’ and will showcase the best of the country’s thriving manufacturing sector. Leading automotive companies including GKN, Jaguar Land Rover and McLaren are among those taking part in the national exhibition, where visitors will be able to see their products and ideas up close, and learn about some of the career opportunities that the industry has to offer.
