2006 Prius - bought it new. Currently have 140,000 miles. At about 110,000 miles the Hybrid battery went bad and had to be replaced. Also had to replace some kind of converter having to do with the coolant system a few years before the battery went bad. I don't think the little battery ever had to be replaced. Weird - but I'm thinking they must have replaced it when they did the big battery. I have always kept up regular maintenance at the dealer. I did recently find myself driving with no oil (or very little - not really registering on the dip stick) in the car recently and remedied it immediately but don't know how long the condition existed; I figured out there was no oil when I kept getting a strange occasional warning light on turning - came to prius chat and the symptom pointed to the oil level and lo-an-behold I in fact had no oil in the car. No other big problems. ...
