BMW getting cold feet with i3 and i8 electric vehicle plans

Anyone who believes this article is a sucker. The source for this information is "rumors are floating around". The truth is that BMW has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on their EV trials, their Carbon Fiber plant in Washington, and developing the i3/i8. They are as committed to this as anyone, except maybe Nissan. Sure they may change their plans slightly, but to believe that they're doing a reversal - and cancelling the i-series based on rumor is ridiculous. And pretty shoddy journalism to boot.
