Volvo Has EVs Ready, But Isn’t Ready To Sell Them

China is going all-in with plug-in cars, and right now the only serious contender in the luxury EV market is the Tesla Model S. If Elon Musk can create a car company out of basically nothing, surely Volvo could find some buyers for their mythical electric car, if it’s good enough and affordable enough. The time is now. We’ve waited long enough for electric cars, and automakers like Nissan and Tesla are already carving out loyal followings among the EV enthusiasts. I want Volvo to lay its balls on the table and tell the market, “Other automakers don’t think you can handle our awesome electric car. But we thought we’d let you decide.”
