Re: Anti-diesel prejudice eroding fast in the U.S. I wonder how many people actually remember the flawed Olds diesel, and how many know about it only because it's brought up time and time again as the lead in to diesel car articles. Hybrids get all the attention, but that could soon change. We'll have to see what the EPA rates the Cruze at. I owned VW diesels for quite a few years and can attest to the mileage abilities. Unfortunately, due to VW's policy of denial on the HPFP failures on the new CR engines I decided to wash my hands of them. I'll be looking at the Cruze, although I'll hang back and see if any problems develop for a year before I decide if I'm interested.
