India's Reva e20 EV ready to take on Norway, Sri Lanka

That electric-vehicle magnet that is Norway has attracted yet another automaker. This time, it's India-based Mahindra that is looking to bring its battery-electric Reva e2o to the country sometime soon, India's Financial Express says. Mahindra is eying the UK and Sri Lanka for new sales as well. In order to facilitate European acceptance, Mahindra knows it has to to add some amenities to the car, which has a 62-mile single-charge range and a top speed of about 60 miles per hour. ABS, airbags and power steering are among features that the e2o may soon include. Previous versions of the model - the infamous G-Wiz - sold 1,500 units in the UK and almost 500 in Norway. The Reva e2o, which costs the equivalent of about $11,000, went on sale in India last March.
