Austalian high schooler Vaibhav Sekhar took on the challenge of responding to the need transport in expecting mothers in remote villages in Zimbabwe, Africa to hospital by designing a 'solar ambulance.' On a recent trip to Zimbabwe, a TeamTREV member learned of the need for a rugged, durable vehicle that could be solar-powered and used by regional clinics to serve villages within 30 kilometers and travel up to 80 km in a day.
