New battery research could see EV charging times plummet

The problem is that a large battery takes much longer to recharge than a small one, so areas of technology that are being intensively researched are either making a battery with a greater energy density, or speeding up the charging process. This latest research looks to provide a solution - at least in part - to the latter aspect of battery technology.
