    While I applaud Elon's vision, I still think he went too far in "streamlining" the Model 3 interior.

    Until the day the car drives itself and there are no steering wheel and foot pedals, I believe you should have sufficient mechanical / analog controls in the car so that if the monitor is broken, I can still drive the full range of the car.

    Or at least turn on the wipers, pullover and put on the hazard lights, then take out whatever is stored in the glove compartment / trunk / frunk.

    Critical systems should ALWAYS be separated from the infotainment systems.
