Man Walks Onto Dangerous Rush Hour Bridge to Rescue Cat

Written by Mario Di Pesa of Quebec, Canada I was crossing a bridge into Montreal from the neighoring city of Laval, when I saw a small black ball of fur cowering by the curb about halfway across the bridge. It wasn’t moving, but some kind of alarm switch went off in me, and I just had to check because I had a hunch this animal was alive. When I got to land I found a parking spot and immediately rushed back onto the bridge, on foot this time, and made my way back. I finally got back to about where I thought I had seen the animal, but it was tricky because the railing kept me from seeing what was on the other side. So I leaned over and there it was, a cat. It was indeed alive and scared as hell.
