Mod Podge is the best friend of any crafter. Paint and magazine scraps can give a quick and unique facelift to a box that you might already have. This particular box previously held tea, with small compartments inside and sturdy (and renewable) bamboo on the outside. The gift itself is so pretty, that only simple ribbon need be tied around for an understated and classy finish. Again, being mindful to use nontraditional holiday colors allows the outside of your present live a longer life beyond the holidays. If you're feeling extra generous, a small gift inside could round it out nicely.
