GreenVolts, CPV Aspirant Gets $39M in VC: GreenVolts, a second-tier Concentrating Photovoltaic (CPV) supplier

There’s also a test install in an industrial park in Fremont, CA. It’s between the NUMMI train tracks and Mission Falls Court, just south of Warren Avenue on the East side of 880. It’s pretty cool and one might be able to get decent enough angles on the panels to figure out some technical details, especially in the morning when they face toward the road. Good luck to GreenVolts, since the high efficiency of CPV systems and the many hours a day that they can generate power should be a valuable addition to the grid! We’d all love to learn a bit more about exactly what their technology involves…
