California cap-and-trade work resumes after court win via @businessgreen

Plans to introduce a state-wide emissions cap-and-trade scheme in California from the start of next year are back on schedule after a court ruled that regulators could proceed with the controversial proposals. The California First District Court of Appeal ruled late on Friday that the state's Air Resources Board (ARB) could continue work on the carbon pricing scheme while it awaits a final decision on a long-running legal challenge against the plans.
