Notable rhino-trading criminal jailed for 40 years in South Africa. Support our campaign to #killthetrade

Illegal wildlife trade is the biggest threat to many of the world’s most iconic species including elephants, rhinos and tigers. Poaching and trafficking of illegal wildlife products has reached a record high, driven by growing demand, and highlighting the need for increased anti-poaching and law enforcement efforts. Illegal wildlife trade is a serious crime; it’s highly organised and often associated with other criminal activities, including illicit arms and drug trade, corruption and money laundering. We’re working with TRAFFIC, the wildlife trade monitoring network, to tackle this deadly and destructive trade.
