Lawn Care Goes to the Sheep in a Pennsylvania School District

A Pennsylvania school will be saving nearly $15,000 in lawn care this year using hungry sheep. The sheep are charged with nibbling the grass around the school's solar panels and then resting in the afternoon under the solar panels. It's a great deal for all parties involved because they're fed with the school's grass so the school need only supply the sheep with water, and they have the shade of the solar panels to take refuge when the sun gets too hot. According to the Associated Press , middle school assistant vice principal Eric Sands will be providing the sheep.
