The amount of drug money Wachovia laundered over a period of time is equal to 1/3 of the entire Mexican economy. Also, illicit drugs are the third most traded commodity in the world behind oil and arms. No wonder the world is so messed up. Despite this monumental law-breaking, there were no criminal charges. Just to protect ourselves, we need to start putting some of these guys in jail. They just regard the fines as a cost of doing business, which I suspect, they recover from their legitimate customers with over-charges and hidden fees.
