How to save the oceans, even if you're landlocked Happy #worldoceansday!

We sat down with actor and ocean activist Ted Danson this year to find out how the average consumer can make a difference. Danson said joining Oceana.org is the first step in changing consumer behavior towards the oceans. “Educate yourself. Be brave. Order local, caught and fresh fish. Ninety percent of the world’s fishermen are artisanal, and catch 10 percent of the haul. We can return to doing things artisanally," he said. "Stop using plastic bags, and reduce the amount of plastic you use. Reduce your climate footprint.” Photo: Disneynature OCEANS
