A solar installation firm has challenged Greg Barker to act quickly to clear up the confusion over planning permission for photovoltaic panels, after the climate change minister promised to "raise this matter with colleagues". Barker was responding to a letter from shadow energy and climate change minister Huw Irranca-Davis, who expressed his concern that councils are wrongly applying planning regulations and preventing householders installing solar panels.
