Dear Mr. Iger and all the Disney staff, Today your company did an important and courageous thing for Indonesia's and the world's forests, and I want to personally thank you. Your new global policy makes clear that Disney deeply values conserving forests, supporting responsible forest management, respecting people whose livelihoods depend on the forests, protecting the plants and animals of the forests, and minimizing the environmental impact of the products you make. Not only have you told the world that Disney values these things, you have created a policy and plan that puts these values into practice. Thank you for your leadership in addressing the urgent issue of deforestation in Indonesia and in demonstrating that companies can do well by doing good. I am hopeful and optimistic that you will implement the policy thoroughly and quickly to the benefit of Indonesia's and ...
