Wind Prospect breezes into renewable energy bond market 27 May

Renewable energy developer Wind Prospect has launched its first private bond in the UK market in a move designed to raise funds for the construction of a 4MW consented wind farm. Wind Prospect launched the bond – dubbed ReBonds – earlier this week, detailing plans to raise £10m to install two RePower wind turbines costing £5m to £6m at South Staffordshire College. The company will use the remaining £4m to £5m to develop one further project. Income from the sale of electricity generated from the two new turbines and Wind Prospect's other wind farms will then be used to pay bondholders...
