Luvenia is so right. It comes down to American apathy. Times were okay, beer was cheap and the tv was free and the corporations bought our freedom and most people couldn't be bothered to say wait a minute. and here we are. I lived in Burlington, Iowa for several years where there is an old ammunition factory. Weapons have been buried there since before WW2. It has one of the highest radiation levels in the US. Not only is the land polluted so is the water. this has happened all over our country. I just got through reading an article about the government spraying radiation in slum areas of St. Louis and Corpus Christi in the 50's and 60's. That's just the tip of the iceberg when you talk about the way we've all been treated like lab rats in experiment after experiment.
