Agence France-Presse — Getty Images Toyota will sell only limited quantities of the eQ, its second all-electric car, starting in December. Toyota scraps plans for wide sales of a new all-electric minicar, saying that it had misread the market and the ability of battery technology to satisfy consumers. Now it plans to sell only about 100 battery-powered eQ vehicles in the United States and Japan. [Reuters] A plus for the Obama campaign?
