Re-imagining Christchurch after the earthquakes - Tedxeqchch is now happening in Christchurch with a live feed #green

Happening as I post this a sold-out event in Christchurch about reimagining the city post earthquake/s. A range of speakers and about 700 ( because that’s all the venue holds most of the big venues have been closed ) very enthusiastic Christchurch people of all ages. Lots of young people here. Hugh Nicholson is one of the Christchurch city planners. Wearing a high-vis jacket he quips that this may be the only city in the world where you wear a high-vis jacket to work to not stand out. His most horrifying feeling inside what is known as the Red Zone is the lack of people.
