A Beautiful Reminder: No Ivory Is Ok Ivory Maybe someday it’ll be possible to buy ivory that can be scientifically verified on the spot, in the shop, right in front of you, to have come from an elephant that died naturally after a rich life in the wild. But right now the only way to be 100% sure that you’re not fueling the elephant poaching crisis is just to not buy ivory. Too many unscrupulous dealers are using the cover of legal antique ivory to sell items made from the tusks of recently poached elephants. It’s very easy to make fake certification documents. Please help spread the word by sharing this mosaic through social media on Facebook and Twitter .
