5 Ways the GOP’s New Platform Fails the Environment

As for why it's so easy to point out why the GOP (Republicans, same thing) has failed, it's because they make it easy. Romney and Ryan continually outright lied during the RNC. The GOP is trying to dictate women's healthcare when they are NOT medical professionals (in fact, the only time they did let a woman speak during the hearings she was called a "slut" for supporting contraception coverage), they're trying to suppress any group of people who might vote against them rather than trying to actually DO something (not talk incessantly about it, DO) that would win over those people who're likely to vote against them. The GOP is continually trying to turn back the clock on civil rights, too! Their anti-environment platform is simply one more nail in that particular coffin!
