Crowdfunding & Tech for Good Going to Sweep the World?
Hi, good article. Crowdfunding has various benefits. But does someone have an experience if the crowd can constantly provide money to fund longterm programs with great uncertainties and a high probability that a lot single projects will fail first. My question is due to comments I saw on Kckstarter where supporters became very unhappy as the promissed result was not acchieved and their money got lost. How does long term large system programs like the city change program look like? The same? Or is it totally different? Which activities on which scale run well via crowd-funding and which don’t? Is there research about it?
