Meet Danelle Myer, whose embrace of the single life involved becoming an organic farmer @grist

When Danelle Myer got divorced at age 30, she expected she’d just keep the same job, remarry, and have a few kids. But seven years later, Myer was still single and sitting on her couch alone on a Saturday night. Suddenly, she realized she had the freedom to do something radical. So she started a tiny organic veggie farm in Nebraska Iowa. One Farm is located on a small corner of Myer’s parents’ corn and soy farm. Her parents “completely dig” her operation, and she’s supportive of her parents’ conventional farm, too.
