Mastectomy Day: What It's Like to Lose a Breast via @Care2Causes

I had a mastectomy 2 yrs ago, & 3 lymphectomies (2 separate surgeries). Doc's just kept finding more & more, even after all the x-rays, mammo's, pt/ct scans. Unfortunately, as of last October, & my complaining of terrible leg pains, it was discovered that I had bone cancer in both femur's; alas, more radiation. I have never felt good again & it seems like my life is slowly fading away. My energy is totally gone, I'm barely beginning to once again taste foods, & now I'm losing my equilibrium. I live alone & find it hard to care for myself & all the necessary things to do. I have a tendency to fall so must be very careful when I walk. Unfortunately, I know nothing about illnesses, I leave it up to the doc's to stay on top of my condition. When asked what kind of results I'm getting, I can't fully answer as I fear knowing all there is to know will clutter my brain beyond its ...
