SAY NO! To Global Shale Gas Fracking's Final Human Descent into Ecocidal Barbarity:

Dear President Obama, I am writing to express extreme concern with the process of “hydraulic fracturing” – referred to as “fracking” – to produce natural gas. The practice is tantamount to blowing up your home to get firewood for heat. It is outrageous your nation’s water supply and geological stability are at stake due to an exemption to the Safe Drinking Water Act, lack of disclosure and monitoring of the chemicals used in the process, and without any EPA regulation. This hasty and ecocidal energy production – in some cases causing tap water to burn - is now spreading to the rest of the world. I call upon to you abolish fracking as a matter of critical importance for global ecological sustainability. With all due respect, I remind you that you are still President of the United States.
