Ford's new plug-in hybrid that gets 95 MPG will soon be available in the U.S.

The C-Max Energi will be available this fall, and it'll be Ford's first plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Based on the specs, it looks like it will be a great addition to the growing field of PHEVs, competing with the Chevrolet Volt and the Prius plug-in . And it should be pretty competitive: Ford claims the C-MAX Energi gets 95 MPG-equivalent, while the Volt is rated at 93 MPGe and the Prius PHEV should also get 95 MPGe .
