Go into any drugstore and you’ll find a wide array of expensive gum, patches and even fake cigarettes to help you kick the habit. But now it appears there is a simple and natural remedy that can help you kick the nicotine addiction – eating more fruits and vegetables . According to a new study , smokers who had fruits and vegetables four or more times per day were three times more likely to be free of tobacco after 14 months when compared to those who only ate fruits and vegetables twice per day on average. This study involved 1,000 smokers all aged 25 and up. The participants filled out surveys about their tobacco usage and the amount of fruits and vegetables they consumed.
