Just a Huge Tree From a Long Time Ago...

Randomly stumbled across this photo of a huge sequoia tree from Sequoia National Park on the internets and thought you guys & gals might also enjoy seeing it. It's sad to think that back in the day, many of these majestic ancient trees (some over a thousand years old, with the oldest specimen known being 2,200 years old ) were cut for fun , and that the big ones that are still around today are probably still standing because they were smaller than what was around at the time.
