one year since the Gulf oil spill and as Philippe Cousteau explains in the video above, despite the fact that graphic disaster portion of the event is behind us, the damage is still not healed, the region still not recovered. As Philippe states unequivocally, it is our addiction to oil (and fossil fuels more broadly) that is the root cause of the damage.
