Please reconsider the brutal slaughter of whales in Japan's waters. As you know, in 1986 the International Whaling Commission issued a moratorium on all commercial whaling. But Japan continues to ignore the ban and participates in whaling year-round. Most nations have expressed their opposition to the slaughter, saying Japan's whaling program is thinly veiled by a claim that it's being done for research purposes. However, whale meat continues to be sold in restaurants and stores. Please do the right thing for the whales' survival and stop the slaughter now!
