An Imperial Eagle named Darshan set a new world record this month: he glided 2,722 feet from the tip of the world’s tallest building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, to his trainer's outstretched arm on the ground below. A camera fastened to the eagle's back provided a view of the city and the dozens of skyscrapers sprouting up within it (watch the full footage here ).
