Dot Earth Blog: An ‘Ask Me Anything’ Chat on Climate Science and Coverage

You race along, doing your work, perhaps raising a family, then turn around and find that a string of decades has unreeled and most of your efforts are likely behind you, not ahead. Part of what you hope is that you can impart to coming generations some of the wisdom that has come from that journey, not just nuggets of knowledge picked up along the way. There is a difference. My hope is that some wisdom about humanity’s haltingly evolving two-way relationship with Earth’s climate will be imparted on Monday, when I’ll have an “ask me anything” onstage discussion on global warming science, policy and media coverage with Michael Oppenheimer , a Princeton University climate scientist and policy analyst with whom I’ve interac...
