What better way to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee than by sending a Cornish contingency to take part in The Thames Pageant? Seasalt can’t be there in person but we are shipping a piece of Cornish spirit up to London, by way of stripey sailor shirts on a traditional rigged fishing boat. On Sunday 3rd June over 1,000 boats from all over the country will take to The Thames to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. The Barnabas, a historic 19th Century sailing boat from St. Ives, will be flying the St. Piran flag along with their special supply of classic Seasalt sailor’s shirts , and they won’t be the only Cornish colour on show. There’ll be Cornish gigs a plenty from Devoran, Flushing & Mylor, Cotehele and Boscastle & Crackington.
