The Pollution Fallout From Zimbabwe’s Blood Diamonds

is a Zimbabwe correspondent for the UK-based magazine, Think Africa Press . His work has won numerous honors, including the Environment Africa Award for reporting on the effects of global warming and climate change on rural communities in Zimbabwe. He has also served as a Knight Science Journalism fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In March 2012, Zimbabwean authorities arrested Mambondiyani on charges of “criminal nuisance” for interviewing villagers about mining pollution; Mambondiyani was released and those charges are pending.
