Vivint Solar Snatches Up Entire 1st Batch of Solar-Trained Veterans

Editor’s Note: There are a bunch of great things about solar. Socio-economically, one of those things is that people on all sides of the political aisle can easily love and support it. It is good for energy independence, self-reliance, the air and water, a more democratized and free-market energy system, and more. Another thing is that it is a wonderful job creator. The solar industry already employs more Americans than the coal industry, and the jobs are growing super fast. One of those great feel-good stories that ties several things together is the pilot program at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, where 20 veterans where recently trained in solar jobs.
