Scientists link recent mass dolphin deaths to BP oil spill:

Our intelligent government has already granted new leases for deepwater drilling. There is still oil on the beaches and they don't care. We have to be able to drive our SUVs and pickups; God forbid we should start driving fuel-efficient vehicles. We have known for decades that oil is finite resouce yet no one in government cared enough to encourage alternative forms of energy and vehicles that get 100 mpg. These are achievable goals but not profitable so who needs them. Until the government rewards those companies who are developing ideas for the future and penalizes those who remain in past, nothing will ever change.
