Mayor Boris mulls solar freakin’ roadways for London: Johnson agrees to consider Green Party pro...

London Mayor Boris Johnson has revealed City Hall is seriously considering trialling new technology that allows roads to convert solar rays into electricity. Speaking at Mayor's Question Time this week, Johnson said he believed there was "much more scope for generating solar power in London than we previously thought" and that his environment department has been studying solar road technology "with interest".
