Mountaintop Removal Coal Mining Playing a Role in Government Shutdown?

Earlier today, I examined the fact that http://www.treehugger.com/files/2011/04/clean-air-act-looming-government-shutdown.php was at the core of the looming shutdown of the federal government. But it even goes deeper than that -- TheGreenMile explains how a fight to preserve mountaintop coal mining (the practice where big coal companies blow up mountains to get cheaper coal) plays a role in the governmental crisis, too.
