As my colleagues report in The Times, American experts are concerned about the possibility of new explosions at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan and have urged the Tokyo Electric Power Company to fill the air space in the primary containments of the reactors there with nitrogen gas to avert this.
