Pacific Reef Sharks In Rapid Decline - Are Humans To Blame? | Care2 Causes

Of course we are. Who else is there to blame? Other sharks have formed gangs? I sorta doubt that. We have been and are spewing toxins into the water at an ever increasing rate, it is affecting all manner of marine life, coral reefs are dying all over the world, entire species going extinct and that horror in the Gulf is still killing sea life and creatures. We so lack in hubris, in empathy for the creatures we share this planet with and we always have. May there come a day when we value ALL life and not just our own, because like it or not, all life is intertwined ecologically and there IS a ripple effect we will one day discover to our own peril. We are such bad stewards of this planet, the one truly sentient species on it IS responsible for helping the others maintain habitat and life that is part of the ecology of the planet on which all of us depend, whether the human ...
