A biofuel-powered educational farm on wheels: This thing is cool!

Compass Green is a mobile greenhouse built into a truck, which runs on vegetable oil (natch). Handsome hipsters Nick Runkle and Justin Cutter retooled the truck, which was already fitted with Plexiglas display panels, to turn it into a biofuel-powered educational farm on wheels . Runkle and Cutter’s sustainable farming curriculum definitely isn’t just for children — they drive Compass Green to elementary schools, but also to high schools and colleges, teaching people how to plant and care for seeds. But only attentive little kids give you cute photos like this one: On the other hand, only adults give you photos like this, which I find hilarious: Compass Green isn’t just powered by waste vegetable oil.
