My new #WWF blog on #Cameron reaffirming his support for #renewables

The latest twist in the debate follows a fortnight in which both Ed Davey and Nick Clegg have spoken out in support of renewables, with Mr Davey recognising and highlighting the opportunities that renewables can bring in terms of green jobs, green growth, rebalancing the economy and reducing dependence on oil and gas imports. The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) agrees, saying that 13,869 jobs have been announced in the renewables sector since April 2011. The Prime Minster's letter says he is "determined that we seize the economic opportunities in renewable energy supply chains as the global race for capital in low-carbon sectors intensifies."
