Caesars' CSR Report Touts Green Meetings, Recycling Efforts

Caesars Entertainment has switched tens of thousands of bulbs to more-efficient models, recycled tons of soap and set new resource and waste goals, according to the casino company's latest sustainability report . In the past year and a half, Caesars has also trained numerous managers on holding sustainable events and kept itself on track to meet a carbon reduction goal. Covering 2010 and early 2011, Caesars' sustainability report is the second such report for both the company and the casino-entertainment industry. Caesars, which owns 52 resorts and brought in $8.8 billion in revenue in 2010, launched its CodeGreen environmental sustainability strategy in 2008, and updated it in 2011 with new targets.
