BICYCLE LANES ARE A HUGE GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY, Right Wing Activists Shout #green

There are a ton of crazy conspiracy theories out there, but this one that bicycle lanes are a big government conspiracy connected with taking over your lives is one of the most absurd I can think of. It makes me want to laugh and cry both at the same time. I’ve actually avoided covering it in the past because it’s so absurd, such a defamation of humanity’s potential and intelligence, and just such a waste of time. But the right wing conspiracy theorists just keep shouting about it, and sister site EcoLocalizer recently posted on it, so I figured I could at least repost that article. Enjoy the repost below. (Thanks, Rhonda, for covering this one for me!)
