The Jacobs’ Irvine office in Irvine, California is located at the Michelson Building. The platinum certification it received is the highest LEED award available. Jacobs Irvine office is 50,000 square feet of office environment with an “open-office” workplace designed with the workers in mind and the award was for Commercial Interiors. The building maximizes natural sunlight, uses certified wood, low-emitting paint, adhesives and carpet, incorporates real-time energy usage and demonstrates the use of LED signage and lighting.
