Glowing Artichoke Lamps, Made From Recycled Book Pages

Made from the pages of old books, sheet music or maps which are cut into circles and arranged on the shell of a typical paper lantern, Patrick intended for these lamps -- both in a pendant and table version -- to look like artichokes. Typically, pages from six or seven different books will be used, and the patterns of the shapes as well as the juxtaposed patterns of the inscriptions on each circle creates layers of visual interest.
